Vegetables are great!

We found out how to prepare vegetables for cooking. We washed, cut and grated lots of vegetables and made them into vegetable soup – it is really easy to make! Nearly all the class loved the soup and we had a queue of people outside the door wanting a bowlful. Mr Hostad even brought his own bowl and spoon! We shared some of the soup with Blue and Poppy group – we hope you liked it. We all made a hat to wear to help us become better chefs!

We did enjoy our soup, everyone tried some and nearly all of Blue and Poppy group liked it. I loved it – my favourite was the smooth soup. Well done 1J, you are great chefs!

I saw the hats you made they were great!!! and i thought you looked like real chefs
